well…

first day at a new school went surprisingly well,
I didn’t get lost and I wasn’t a loner.

starting at a new school …

I was at a comprehensive in a crappy area and loved it,.
I was at the top of all my classes and getting on with most people and then the frickin letter arrived from a the best state single sex school in the county,
oh bugger, so starting school on monday. *sighs and walks away*

What is a true holiday?

Holiday… what is it?

We all know that it is precious time off work/school but should a holiday be doing stuff out and about or sleeping in till midday and then playing Xbox?

I prefer the latter but my mum likes to get stuff done, She usually wins the arguments. My Family hasn’t been abroad for years because there are too many of us, so stay at home holidays has been the norm. We always make our way to Camp Bestival, sometimes staying at my gran’s in Norfolk.

Television has killed the traditional British holiday, Days out, picnics, sport and socializing. Technology is a tool and not a replacement for real human emotions and actions.

I can’t complain I have a years subscription to Xbox Live, but  listening to my mum’s tales of shooting, hunting, poaching and scrumping makes me want to do the same.

so should we revert back to the traditional holiday or shall we look forward to the future and whatever technological advances it brings?

How long before you notice a broken toe?

I have had pain in my feet for a long time and well I have a habit of doing nothing about it. well after four months of pain I am seeing a foot doctor.
While I do my 2hr long paper round.
